There is a rich and vibrant nightclub and bar culture in KhonKaen that while on par with the scenes in Bangkok, Chiang Mai or Pattaya will always attract less of a crowd so you can enjoy yourself without being smothered by a massive crowd. Here are some great bars and clubs to check out.
Boss Time
Open-air drinking and delicious food are what you can get at Boss Time which is located on PrachaSamran Road. The beer garden atmosphere can be calm or high-energy when on Fridays and Saturdays they bring in live music.
99 Vintage
While there are plenty of things to do in KhonKaen, if you haven’t been to a nightclub like 99 Vintage, you haven’t experienced the city as you ought to.
Rads
Located in Amphoe Muang KhonKaen and a quick drive from your local hotel the likes of Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre. They serve both international and local alcohol so there’s a variety to try.
Blue’s Bar
A mostly foreign-based clientele visits Blue’s Bar. The bar has great food and also pool tables where you can get a few games on. It’s also great if you are looking for some relative calm after a rowdy night.
Tiki Tiki Café
Tiki Tiki Café is yet another that only caters to foreigners. So, if you’d like to meet locals this wouldn’t be the place. But they have a great budget drinks menu.
