Mount Inari

Mount Daimonji-yama
More of nature’s beauty can be experienced at Mount Daimonji-yama on a hike to the summit from the Ginkaku-ji Temple. The round trip takes around 60 minutes and on your way to the top, you will come across lovely tree-filled stretches; best of all is the awe-inspiring panoramas over Kyoto from the Daimonji viewpoint.
Uji River
This well-known river bisects the city of Uji and one of the best things to do in Kyoto is to plan an excursion here. A great way to explore the area is to take a cruise along the river which gives you a chance to enjoy some amazing views. In the middle of the river is an island with a pagoda that you can visit too.
