An Unforgettable Night Out In Birmingham

Located amidst the hustle and bustle of Britain’s vibrant West Midlands County lays the modern metropolis that is Birmingham. Known for its industrial past, Britain’s second biggest city or “Brum” as its locally called is a melting pot of culture, trade, architecture and people.

As home to Europe’s largest population of young people it is no wonder that Birmingham surpasses many European cities in terms of entertainment. Next to London, Birmingham houses the largest population of students in all of Britain and therefore, a night out in Birmingham is unlike any other as visitors can take their pick of the myriad of theatres, comedy clubs, night clubs and live music at their disposal. A city that never calls it a night, Birmingham offers a night on the town that is guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest of tourists.

Live comedy enjoys unparalleled success in the city’s nightlife. Top notch stand-up comics and seasoned comedians take stage all across comedy clubs and pubs in this great city. Popular spots include Jongleurs and the Glee Club while the Arcadian Centre is another venue where the laughter never ends.

When it comes to nightclubs, few British cities can rival the diversity found in good old Brum, with world class deejays spinning the tunes from hip-hop, funk and disco in clubs such as The Mailbox, Gatecrasher Birmingham and Mechu. Birmingham also has a number of casinos where guests can try their luck, while Broad Street truly deserves its title as Birmingham’s Party Mile with its trendy bars and lively clubs. Summer Row is another great area with a number of popular bars where one can unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

The Jewellery Quarter is a live music hub for those who want to dance the night away while those with a flare for the classics can go to the Hippodrome where Britain’s best musicals come to life in the city’s flagship theatre. The Birmingham Royal Ballet also offers visitors a visual feast for the season.

When it comes to dining out, Birmingham has a wide selection of restaurants and eateries on offer. Why not try the Chinese themed diners along The Arcadian which is conveniently located within walking distance of Birmingham New Street. For those who are more athletic, bowling alleys and snooker clubs are also part of the landscape.

Ideally located, Copthorne Hotel Birmingham is centrally situated within close range of all of Birmingham’s lively nightspots. Guests will have unrivalled access to all the city has to offer from this stylish and comfortable hotel. Birmingham New Street train station is also near this Birmingham hotel making it the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.
