Enjoy the world in one day at Window of the World Shenzhen

Window of the World Shenzhen

Sometimes, it only takes one solo trip somewhere to discover a previously dormant thirst for travel and adventure while for others, wanderlust is something they embraced at a tender age. Either way, travelling solo is a wonderful way to explore new places that you are interested in at your own pace while travelling with someone you know can be an excellent way to make memorable experiences that last a lifetime. However, as most wanderers at heart are all too painfully aware, the astronomical cost of travel makes seeing some of the most iconic destinations of the world, acutely difficult. Keeping this in mind, tourists and travellers staying in Shenzhen serviced apartments, have a glorious opportunity to experience all these attractions in one day, at the Window of the World.

The Window of the World is a must visit theme park when in Shenzhen and it is fairly easy to reach. For those staying at the Ascott Maillen Shenzhen, the Shekou line services both the hotel and the attraction making it extremely convenient. Stretching over a vast area, 48 hectares to be exact, the theme park is replete with replicas of some of the most famous sights in the world. The park has attractions from across the world and from Europe, patrons will be able to witness the Eiffel Tower, albeit as 1/3rd of its true size, the Pyramid outside the Louvre Museum, the Palace of Versailles and the Jardin du Luxembourg in France while a replica of the Cologne Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the Acropolis of Athens feature from Germany and Greece.

Patrons will also be delighted to see reproductions of the Colosseum in Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Tuscany, the Buckingham Palace of England and even the Swiss Matterhorn Mountain. The Park also features various monuments from countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Egypt, and the United States and reproduces a total of 130 attractions from across the world.
