Siam Niramit Show in Phuket

Witness a cultural extravaganza that is distinctly Thai-flavoured when you sit through the stunning spectacle that is the Siam Niramit Phuket. Providing an enjoyable experience for the whole family, the show is a perfect introduction to Thai legend and lore. It is similar to its sister show located in Bangkok and is located on a beautiful lakeside property that adds an element of mysticism to this splendid show. You will be presented with three acts over an hour an ten minutes detailing intriguing aspects of Thai culture via elabourate costumes and vibrant sets, lighting and music. The second act is especially enthralling as it features the Thai concept of heaven and hell, with the former featuring beautiful flying devas and angels and the latter presenting a frightening picture of punishments for sinners. The show runs six days a week except Tuesdays, from 8:30pm, although visitors are advised to come early to secure the best seats. The grounds also features a fascinating array of attractions to explore either before or after the show. Take a few snapshots of some traditional Thai-style houses, various souvenir shops, a floating market and open air performances designed to delight. Kids especially will enjoy indulging in the fun array of carnival games where you can win stuffed animals, or feed baskets of fruit to the friendly elephants present. If you feel a little peckish, there is a restaurant located onsite that serves food from 6-8:15pm. Sit on the third floor and enjoy the panorama of the lake to add an element of rustic charm to your meal. A fun time for the entire family can be found at the Siam Niramet Phuket show, so make sure it’s included on your cultural itinerary.
