Macau may be known for its glitzy casinos and glamorous shows which provide an action packed night out on the town, but there is so much more to enjoy too. If you are planning to head here in April this year, you are in for a treat because some of the most popular names in the Cantopop music scene are set to perform in what is known as the Spring Concert Series. Artistes such as Kay Tse, Hins Cheung and Vincy Chan promise some truly memorable shows for you to enjoy specially if you happen to be a member of the Galaxy Privilege Club which not only features some super benefits at Macau luxury hotels but access to these exclusive concerts as well.
Kicking off the Spring Concert Series on April 4th will the Kay Tse music show which will give one a chance to catch one of the hottest female Cantopop singers at the moment. Hailing from Hong Kong, this talented singer songwriter has certainly made a name for herself in the regional music industry. Coming into the spotlight after the release of her song ‘Wedding Invitation Street’ raced to the top of Hong Kong’s four major charts in 2008, Kay Tse has also garnered many prestigious accolades including the coveted Media Award for the Performer category at the Four Station Joint Music Awards in 2009.
On April 24th, one can also catch a performance by the rock duo from Taiwan, known as Power Station. Made up of Yen Chih-lin and Yu Chiu-hsin, this popular band has made a name for itself for their upbeat rock anthems and rock ballads. Their first album, Walking along Jhonghsiao East Street Nine Times was released in 2001, while they also took part in the Don’t Forget the Origins, Moving On World Tour in 2013.
Also part of the Spring Concert Series is a performance by Hins Cheung featuring special guest, Vincy Chan. The concert which is scheduled for April 25th will give fans a chance to enjoy hits by Chinese Cantopop artiste Hins Cheung who has been involved with shows such as the charity gala in Canada known as S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Joining him will be Cantopop singer Vincy Chan who has also become a well recognised name in the local music scene.
