Things to Do in Kuta that Don’t Cost you a Dime; Bali on a Budget

Kuta is a beautiful and scenic location in exotic Bali, which has always served as a major attraction for tourists and a holiday spot commonly chosen by locals. If you wish to avoid overspending, try out some of these budget-saver options to still enjoy the best of Kuta with a wallet-friendly initiative. The first is window shopping. Yes, you need to stay away from actually indulging in a bit of a splash to buy your favourite designer wear but that might not be too tough considering the fact that the Centro Discovery Mall and Matahari Mall which are famous in the area offer a bit of a scenic vista in their own way. Most people visit these malls to just gaze in wonder at the merchandise displayed everywhere along with the beautiful architecture of the building. You could also see many people mingling with each other or meeting friends to hang out while doing a bit of window shopping here. The next thing to do is to observe the traditional ceremonies that take place. Many of these involve a procession of individuals wearing traditional Balinese attire marching down the street with offerings held above their heads. Ask the management of the hotels, resorts or service apartments in Bali at which you are staying about upcoming ceremonies, and ensure that you observe the happenings.
Try and leave the comfort of your accommodation and step out onto the streets of Bali, if you are not comfortable exploring the alleyways then head down to the spectacular beaches and walk. If you are staying somewhere close to the beach in one of the many accommodation options such as the Citadines Kuta Beach Bali, an early morning or late afternoon walk will also give you the chance to catch some stunning scenery along the way. Take a look at the various local markets such as the Kuta Market to experience a taste of the lifestyle of the Balinese people.
